I pull a 535 with a jd 5510 that is rated at 75 pto and get along just fine with it, hills let you know it's back there and pulls a bit harder but overall works pretty well. I think the book calls for 75 pto hp, you could probably get away with a little less. It seems the MF 4243 got alot more power than the MF275 tractor, the MF 4243 is rated at 75 pto hp and the MF275 is 67 pto hp. It rated at 75 pto hp and does just fine. In 1999 I got a MF4243 tractor to pull it with, which I still using today. I brought my JD 535 baler new back in 1993 I pull it with a MF275 tractor, it knew it was back there, but it did ok. I used my 7710 Ford in a pinch and that was fine on flat ground but you knew it was back there. Would that be enough? Fairly flat here,a few small hills. what are hp requirements? have a 75 hp with fwa. Was thinking about moving up to a jd 535 round baler. Hp for jd 535 baler Jump to page : 1 Now viewing page 1
